William Spargur

December 6, 1977 — November 7, 2014

SPARGUR II, WILLIAM F.         Age 36, was born in Balboa, Republic of Panama.  He passed away on November 7, 2014 in Palmdale, Calif.  Will was a U.S. Army veteran; assigned as an infantryman to multiple combat tours, which included Kosovo, and Macedonia.  His overseas assignments were to Germany, Kosovo, Macedonia, and South Korea.  Will’s awards included the Army Achievement Medal (3 rd award), National Defense Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Army Good Conduct Medal, Nato Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon (2 nd   award), United Nations Medal, Gold German Army Marksmanship Badge, and Kosovo Campaign Medal.  After leaving the Army, Will became a nurse and worked at several medical facilities; the last being the Southern Kern County hospital.  Will is survived by his parents, and brother.  He is deeply missed by all his family and friends.  A viewing will be held from 4-8pm, on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, 1755 East Avenue R, Palmdale, Calif. 93550.  Burial will be private at Riverside National Cemetery, in Riverside, Calif.  You may sign the condolence book at:   www.chapelofthevalleymortuary.com .  Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
