Virgillia Pope

POPE, Virgillia J. Born October 15, 1920 in Medford Utah. Passed away on April 5, 2016 in Lancaster, CA. Resided in the Antelope Valley since 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband Ben W. Pope Sr. and daughter Linda joy Pope. She is survived by daughters Vicki Bowers (Gilbert) and Nancy Stephen, son Ben W. Pope Jr. (Laura), 9 grandchildren 18 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren. She retired in 1976 from PHS as head attendance clerk. She belonged to the Palmdale Women’s Club, Palmdale Kiwanis Club and Leisure Lake Red Hats. She will be missed by all that knew her but will always be in our hearts. Services will be at 11am, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary. Private interment at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
