In Loving Memory of Thea Dee Leonard Lumpkin
The world has lost a remarkable soul with the passing of Thea Dee Leonard Lumpkin on March 29, 2024, in Palmdale, CA. She was born on January 14, 1975, in Los Angeles County to her biological mother Ella Frazier and was later embraced by the loving arms of Mary and Milton Leonard as her adopted parents.
Thea's life was one defined by love, care, and strength. Described as a joy to be around, positive, nurturing, and compassionate, she touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Thea's radiant personality and unwavering devotion to her family were at the core of everything she did.
A graduate of Centennial High School, Thea dedicated her life to being a devoted housewife, finding true fulfillment in being a loving mother and wife. Her proudest accomplishments included raising her children with boundless love and care.
Thea's presence will be deeply missed by her surviving family members: her husband Sylvester Lumpkin; sisters Carol, Crystal, Martia, Marsha (Bambi), Mattie and Malvia; brothers Donshay and Dellshaun Patrick; biological sons Dennis, Ka'vonte, Isaiah; stepsons Sylvester Lumpkin III, Keijuan, Jaheim Malik; stepdaughters Kemica, Laporcha, Amanda, Courtney; nephews Adrian, Antquawn, Paul Jr., Jeremiah Shawndell Amari Semaj Dayshaun; nieces Ashlei, Jaelin, Shawntia, Dellshounna, Auriah, April Abigail; as well as 5 great nieces and nephews and 10 grandchildren.
Thea is proceeded in death by her Brother, Milton Jr. and Morris as well as her sister Marie .
In remembrance of Thea's life well-lived and the impact she had on all those around her, a Celebration of Life service will be held on April 13th, 2024. The ceremony will take place at Halley Olsen Chapel of the Valley in Palmdale, CA, starting at 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
Though our hearts ache with the loss we feel today, let us find solace in the cherished memories we shared with Thea. May her legacy of love and kindness live on in our hearts forever.
Rest in peace dear Thea Dee Leonard Lumpkin. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
