Robert Routolo

ROUTOLO, Robert “Bob”, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 19, 2015. Bob was born in West Haven, CT., on September 8, 1931. He was preceded in death by Millie, his wife of 57 years. He was married to Mildred “Millie” Routolo, June 19, 1954, and had eight children. He was in the US Army from 1949 to 1952 serving in the Korean War. He worked in the Entertainment Industry, with the Center Theatre Group as a Technical Director at the Los Angeles Music Center. Bob was a proud member of the IATSE Local 33. He was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Our Lady of Perpetual Help, he resided in the Santa Clarita and Palmdale areas for the last 47 years. He is survived by his children Bob, Ron, Patty, Tina, Lisa, Robin, Lori and Bill, 26 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sister, Esther Muller and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10 am, on Saturday, Jan 2, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 1600 E. Ave R-4, in Palmdale, Calif., and following with burial at Good Shepherd Cemetery at 43121 70th St W in Lancaster, Calif. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ARC of Ventura County, Benefit of: ARC-Skyway, 5103 Walker Street, Ventura, CA 93003.
