Melodie Ventroni

VENTRONI, MELODIE     Passed away on April 7, 2014, after a long battle with breast cancer.  She was strong and courageous throughout.  Melodie was born in Washington, DC on January 15, 1953 to Edward and Anita (Barton) Christie.  She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert Ventroni.  They have 3 children; David, Jennifer Ochoa (Michael), and Kevin (Kellie); with 8 grandchildren; Jasmine, Xavier, Cylvia, Nicole, Garrett, Sabrina, Justin, and Emily.  Melodie enjoyed cooking, sewing, shopping, and going on cruises.  But her life calling was the maternal love of her family.  All activities were planned around the children.  Whether family or friends, children always brought a loving smile to her face.  Her kindness and happiness was in full display when family and friend’s children were around her.  Melodie was the most selfless person, she put everyone else before herself.  She was a true Angel.. a Super Mom.  Melodie will always be loved and missed by her family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.  A funeral service will be held at 3pm, Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary.  For further information or to sign the condolence book please visit: www.chapelofthevalleymortuary.com .  Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
