Mary Thompson

THOMPSON, Mary born May 3, 1936 in Trinidad, Colorado.  Passed away July 8, 2016 in Leona Valley, CA.  She has been a resident of the Antelope Valley for 14 years.  Mary worked for the Bermite Powder Company where she met her husband Leon and later helped run the Bouquet Shell they owned for many years while raising their children. Mary loved decorating for Christmas and looked forward to displaying her Hallmark ornaments each year.  Mary is survived by son, Steve Thompson, daughter, Debbie Fontaine and husband Harvey, grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, and Marissa, and great-grandchildren, Landon, Kamryn, and Skylar.  Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Leon and their son, Curtis.  A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary with interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
