Marlene Hoehn

April 26, 1939 — December 29, 2020

Marlene Theresa Hoehn, 81, went home to be with Jesus on Dec 29th, 2020 after a brief battle with medical issues.
Marlene was born on April 26th, 1939 to parents, Chester and Theresa Phillips in Flint, Michigan.
She moved to Inglewood, Los Angeles and graduated from Morningside High School in 1957.
A lifelong lover of polka dancing, Marlene met her sweetheart, Frank Louis Hoehn, at a church polka dance in Los Angeles and they were married on May 14th, 1960 and recently celebrated a quiet 60th wedding anniversary.
Marlene was an incredible wife, mother and homemaker as well as being a retired teachers' aid of 23 years for the Palmdale School District.
Her passions were her husband, Frank and her family as well as road-tripping across the U.S. to visit family and friends!
She excelled at baking, collecting recipes and loved to share her Polish heritage through her cooking.
She loved to play family board games and always brightened the room with her smile, laughter, and joy!
Marlene was preceded in death by both her parents and her brother Chester Phillips Jr.
She is survived by her husband Frank and children: Julie (Mike) Allen of Tehachapi, CA; Cynthia (Steve) Seddon of New Braunfels, TX; Edward Hoehn of Cheyenne, WY, and David (Christina) Hoehn of Live Oak, TX.
Marlene is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church in Palmdale, CA on Wednesday, Jan 6th at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend. Service will be held inside. Masks are required.
Burial will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial in Palmdale, CA on Friday Jan 29th at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Masks are required.
