Margie Bernice Siddle passed away on Dec. 27, 2013 at home in Palmdale after a long illness, she was surrounded by family and will be in there hearts forever. Margie was born in Morley Missouri on Sept. 24, 1935 the only child of Margie and Ralph Pratt. The family moved to California when Margie was young, along with an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Margie lived in West Los Angeles early on but the family called the orchards of Littlerock home when Margie graduated from Antelope Valley High School and was the Miss Littlerock Community Queen in 1952. Margie met her husband Ron Siddle while he was in the Navy stationed in San Diego, a mutual friend brought them together and they were married in 1955 and celebrated their 58th anniversary last year. Margie had many interests during her life, she loved to travel and visited many countries with friends, including South America, Russia and China. She wrote poetry and like to draw and paint. Margie had been the 2011-12 President of Alpha Omicron Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi that she enjoyed with many friends. Margie enjoyed working starting off at an early age with a job at Don Hertel's pharmacy, she was in the accounting office at Palmdale General Hospital, sold real estate with Coldwell Banker and worked on the B-2 program at Northrop. Margie attended Central Christian Church and had many caring close friends there. Margie is survived by her husband Ron, son Steve and wife Pam of Arlington Texas, granddaughter Caitlin and husband Patrick and was preceded in death by grandson Jonathan. Son Ron and wife Gail, granddaughter Nicole, grandson Brett and wife Megan and great grandson Grant. Services will be officiated by Dr. Rodney Allee Jan. 3, 2014 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary in Palmdale at 11:00, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Central Christian Church, 3131 west Ave J, Lancaster CA, 93536 I plan to take a trip someday, to a place beyond the sun. I'll go quietly in the evening, when my work on earth is done. I'll step right out and take off, like a feather in the breeze Up I'll go without a care, above the highest trees. I'll travel light, all through the night, no baggage will there be. When I get to my heavenly home, God will provide for me. Margie
