Luella Ingar Bouche
1932 - 2023
Luella Ingar Bouche, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2023, in Lancaster, California at the age of 91. She was born on May 9, 1932, in Faithorn, Michigan, to Edward and Rosetta Hansen. Luella was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.
Luella was a warm and nurturing presence in the lives of those who knew her. She had a unique way of making everyone feel loved and cared for, and she became like a second mother to her children's friends. Her kind and gentle nature endeared her to all who crossed her path.
In her career, Luella worked in retail sales at Woolworth's and Kmart stores in the Antelope Valley. Alongside her husband, Don, she also owned and operated a Hobby store in Redding, California. Later on, Luella and Don worked managing RV Park Systems in Long Beach, Washington, where she and Don enjoyed their love for camping.
Outside of work, Luella had a passion for boating and camping. She cherished the time spent with family and friends, creating lasting memories on the water and around the campfire. Luella was also a talented crafter, known for her beautifully crocheted Afghans and intricate needlepoint pieces. Even in her late 80's, she continued to create crafts of all kinds with love and dedication.
Luella is survived by her loving children, Debby Felder, Donald Bouche II and Michelle Rohring. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Gina Miller (Bouche), Ian Anderson, Ryan Anderson, Brian Felder, Danielle Felder, Tyler Rohring, Bryan Rohring and her six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her niece Cathy Hollman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Rosetta Hansen, her loving husband of 55 years, Donald Delore Bouche, Sr., her brother Robert Hansen, and her sister Grace Wenzel (Hansen).
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Bryan C. Benefiel and his staff, as well as the staff of Mayflower Gardens Convalescent Hospital, for their exceptional care and support over the years.
The funeral arrangements are being handled by Halley Olsen Chapel of the Valley in Palmdale, California.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, located at 2200 East Avenue S, Palmdale, California 93550. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will take place at the home of Don and Sherrie Bouche.
Luella Ingar Bouche will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering love, and the joy she brought to the lives of those around her. Her legacy of warmth and creativity will continue to inspire and touch the hearts of all who knew her.
