CORDOVA, Lawrence Edward Opened his eyes December 17, 1955 in Texas. Closed his eyes and went to rest with his mom Elizabeth Cordova and wife Susan Cordova on July 20, 2013 in Palmdale, CA. He is survived by his father, Larry Cordova (Paula), brother, Mark "Tony" Cordova (Debbie), sister, Suzanne Tucker (Eric), children, Michael Ritchie (Elena), Jeffrey Ritchie, DeeDee Ritchie (Bri), Victoria Cordova, and Nicholas Cordova, grandchildren, Michael, Jeremy, Stephen, Karizma, and one on the way, nieces and nephews, Nicki, Heather, Zack, Mickey, and Jessey. Summer were Ed's favorite time of year. It meant fishing, BBQ-ing and his favorite, baseball. All though he was an all around sports guy he mainly watched baseball. He was a huge Dodgers fan and a dedicated Jet hawks fan ever since the very first game. He hated when the season ended and loved when it started. He took every opportunity to go fishing with his companion and best friend, his dog Teddy. His other best friend was his dog Rusty. They both stayed by his side through everything. In any type of weather he found any reason to have a BBQ. Anything he would put on the grill would without a doubt always taste amazing. He loved and collected all different types of hats. He loved every holiday but his favorites were the 4th of July and Thanksgiving. He fought a long hard battle and conquered all obstacles that came his way. He will always be remembered as Superman! He will be missed by many and will never be forgotten for his strength and courage he held through it all.
