Karee Lenore Bonde passed away peacefully on June 13, 2022, at the age of 50. She was born on May 18, 1972.
She is survived by her parents, Russell and Molly Bonde, her sister Rena Mathews (Husband Jason), her children Anthony and Victoria Soriano, and her grandmother Phyllis Bonde.
Karee was a stand-out basketball player in college at CSUDH where she is listed in the record books for most 3-point field goals made in a career and still holds the CCAA career record for 3-point field goal percentage. She enjoyed teaching at Catholic schools for almost 20 years where she strived to make a positive difference in the lives of young people every day. The impact of her passing will be felt by many.
A funeral Mass is scheduled for 12:00pm on Friday, July 8, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church , Palmdale, CA.
She will be greatly missed by family, fellow teachers, students, teammates and friends
