Whalley, Jack born February 5, 1922 in Lisbon, CT; passed away May 18, 2015 in Littlerock, California. Jack attended Norwich Free Academy, Lincoln Aeronautical Institute and served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946. Jack was employed by North American Aviation for 23 years, and the LA County Road Dept. for 15 years. He also proudly served as a Sergeant in the Los Angeles County Sheriff Mounted Posse for 25 years, and in his free time enjoyed gardening and fishing. In 1981, Jack helped his son, Tim, establish Whalley’s Orchard. Jack was actively involved in the Orchard until his death. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gwyneth, children, Tim and Jann, grandchildren, Lisette Latapu (Soni), Jonathan Dennell, and Jason Dennell, and great grandchildren Alicia and Jacob Latapu. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Margaret Whalley and his son Jackie. Private services were held May 21 st 2015 at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
