Gwen Barkley

BARKLEY, Gwen Elizabeth (Glouner), Born April 22, 1953 in Burbank, Calif.  Passed away Aug. 23, 2011 in Lancaster, Calif.  Gwen Elizabeth Barkley was raised in the Antelope Valley by her parents Lee and Elise Glouner. She attended Palmdale High School and graduated with honors in 1971. She continued on to Redlands University. She moved to Las Vegas in the early 1980’s, where she raised her three sons. She was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend to all those who knew her. She is survived by her sons Nicholas, Weston, and Brandon, her father Lee, sister Anita, brother-in-law Tom, brother Mark, sister-in-law Liz, nieces, Natasha and Madison, and nephew’s Preston and Michael. She devoted her life to her family, and will be cherished forever in their hearts. Services will be held at 1pm, Monday, August 29, 2011 at Father Serra Parish in Quartz Hill, Calif.  You may sign the condolence book at www.chapelofthevalleymortuary.com.
