Edith Clark

January 9, 1927 — June 7, 2014

Louise Clark passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 7, 2014. Louise was an “Okie from Muskogee”, Oklahoma, born Edith Louise Acree in 1927. She grew up in Muskogee and was the valedictorian of her high school class and an active member of her Baptist church and its choir. After Henry’s passing, Louise moved from Arizona to California to live with and help her daughter and grandchildren. She was a devote Christian, an avid reader, a fan of NCIS, and a music and nature lover.  She was a smart, hard-working, generous and caring woman who always wanted to help family and friends. She is survived by her son David of Gilbert, Arizona, her daughter, Katherine Wood of Lancaster, California, sister Emogene Cundiff of Bixby, Oklahoma and 2 grandchildren, Garrick and Veronica Wood.
