Born on August 18, 1942 in Norfolk, Virginia. Passed away on February 1, 2015 in Palmdale, Calif. Dixie is survived by her husband, Robert Hallsworth, her children, Kimberly Barden, Sundi (Rodney) Flansburg, William “Tres” Galvery, and Briana (Daniel Dorowski) Hallsworth, and her grandchildren, Jake, Zack, and Jessie Dalton. She is also survived by her sister, Dolly Maguin, and nieces, Keeling and Brandie Maguin. A viewing will be held from 11am-12pm, continuing with a funeral service at 12pm, both on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary. Interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
