WHEELER KITTRELL FITZGERALD, Diana Lou born July 18, 1932 in Los Angeles, California. Passed away April 20, 2016 in Palmdale, California. Diana grew up in the Orange Groves of West Covina, California until 1945 when her family moved to Palmdale, California where she attended A.V. High School and lived for 70 years. Diana was a Homemaker and was also an officer of the Family Services group at Edwards Air Force Base. She enjoyed singing, music and crocheting, her smile was contagious, her laughter came from deep within. She loved her family unconditionally. She grew up with music in her life and had the love of playing the violin. She made every road trip fun with family singing songs. She loved to share the beautiful crocheted blankets and outfits and her talent of sewing was seen by everyone she came in contact with. She loved life to the fullest. She was surrounded by her family when she greeted her lord with a strong faith. Diana was preceded in death by her husband William Wheeler of 32 years in December of 2010, parents Claire Fitzgerald and John David Fitzgerald; 9 sisters and brothers.  Diana is survived by her daughters, Bertie Brewer of Palmdale, California, Penny Merryfield (James Merryfield) of Kimball, Nebraska, Tammy Kinzy of Yorba Linda, California; son, Danny Kittrell (Linda Kittrell) of Lancaster, California; step-daughters Bonnie Bush (Bruce Bush) of Delhi, California, Wendy Arnold (Chuck Arnold) of Nevada, Texas, and Holly Coon of Los Molinas, California; step-son Bill Wheeler Jr. of Los Molinas, California; sister Nancy Harding of Rogers, Arkansas; 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Palmdale, California, at 10:00AM with officiating minister, Rodney Allee. Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
