Daniel Eugene Howard was born on May 31st, 1961 in Los Angeles. He passed away March 2nd, 2022 in Palmdale, in the house he was raised in by his parents Helen and John, together with his brother Jim.
In 2001 Dan founded Antelope Valley Jiu Jitsu, the first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in the Antelope Valley. While continuing to teach at the school, and eventually getting his Black Belt, Dan also worked as a home warranty professional, eventually working with Fidelity National Home Warranty.
Dan is remembered by his many students, family, and friends, who all miss him and wish his life wasn’t cut short so soon.
