Burton Sanderson

SANDERSON, Burton S. Born February 23, 1930 in Wilksbear, PA. Passed away April 3, 2014 in Palmdale, CA. He has been a resident of the Antelope Valley for 56 years. He served in the US Armed Forces for 20 years, both in the US Army and the US Air Force. During his time in the military he served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He loved riding horses and was a volunteer with the LACS Mounted Patrol. Burton is survived by his wife, Glenna Sanderson, daughter, Sandra Spencer and husband Michael, sons, Glen Sanderson and wife Paula, Michael Sanderson and wife Leslie,  14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, sisters, Virginia Dahlen, and Cheryl Westfall, and numerous other family members and friends. A visitation will be held from 3pm to 7pm Wednesday, April 9, 2014 with a funeral service at 10am Thursday, April 10, 2014 both at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
