Beatrice Kaastad

KAASTAD, Beatrice Geneva   a resident of Palmdale for 52 years passed away on, November 30, 2013 at her home in Holiday Island, Arkansas, at the age of 96.  She was born on January 25, 1917, in Kenmare, No. Dak. and was the youngest of five children.  She is survived by sons, Kenneth Kaastad of Temecula, Calif., and Wayne Kaastad of Holiday Island, Arkansas, daughter, Karen Marks of Satellite Beach, Florida, 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Oscar J. Kaastad, and son, Alan Kaastad.  In lieu of flower the family requests you to make donations to:  St. Stephens of the Valley Lutheran Church in memory of Bea Kaastad.  A funeral service will be held at 10am, on Monday, December 16, 2013 at St. Stephen's of the Valley Lutheran Church following with burial at Desert Lawn Memorial Park both in Palmdale Calif.  Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
