Barbara Taylor

Barbara Rhea Taylor (Hardwick) passed away on June 13, 2014 in San Diego, CA. Barbara was born in Oklahoma on December 11, 1937 to Ruby and Darrell Hardwick (Deceased). She was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. “Bob” Taylor in 2001. Bob and Barbara moved to Palmdale after their marriage in 1956. Barbara worked for the AVUHSD for 32 years. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Barbara is survived by her daughter Denise Tremaine (Rob), five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Sisters Colleen, Linda; Brothers Gene and David.  Special Aunt Anna Bess (Johnny) Townley of Texas. Barbara was active in various Red Hat groups and enjoyed traveling, her dog Maggie and visiting with friends and family. Services for Barbara will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 1:00pm at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, 1755 E. Ave. R, Palmdale, CA. 93550 followed by a scattering of her ashes at Napili Bay, Maui, Hawaii in the summer of 2015.
