On Thursday September 8, 2022, Alejandro "Alex" Garcia passed away suddenly at the age of 41. He was born on September 22, 1980 in Guadalajara, Mexico and then moved to the San Fernando Valley at 3 months old. He attended Morningside Elementary, San Fernando Middle, and graduated from San Fernando High School where he played football. He moved to the Antelope Valley in 1996 with his family and lived there until his untimely passing.
Alex met his wife Jessica while working at Lenscrafters in 2001, welcomed Baby Al in 2006 and had a beautiful Catholic wedding in 2007. They remained together for 21 years but he will always be in her heart until eternity.
Alex had a very long successful career in the optical field but had to retire early due to medical reasons. He was a very kind soul who was there for so many people and always welcomed everyone into his home with open arms. His greatest love was his wife, son, family and friends. He was the biggest sports fanatic and enjoyed going to live games. You could never walk into his home without sports playing on the TV. #Raider Nation and Dodger Blue.
He always had Sunday barbecues and played baseball with all the neighborhood kids. He was fun, happy, compassionate with a very generous heart. Everyone loved him. He was the patriarch of the family with his wife and son always by his side.
Alex is survived by his loving wife Jessica, son Alex, mother Graciela Rocha, sister Rosa Lopez, Tia Rosa, Tio Ruben, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
We are left saddened by the sudden passing of a man who always lived and loved larger then life. We'll see him again in blue heaven.
Eternal rest great unto him, O lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. May almighty God bless us with peace and strength, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
He walked by faith not by sight, but the good lord has healed him and made it right. May he now see the beauty of the lords light.
