Abelardo Manansala Ignacio alias Dan Ignacio , age71, of Palmdale, California, went to be with our lord on Saturday night, February 25, 2017 surrounded by his family in Los Angeles, California. Born on March 10, 1945 in Pampanga, Philippines to the late Salvador L. Ignacio and Maria Magdalena M. Ignacio. He came to the States in 1972. He worked very hard to bring his families and in-laws to the states to have a better life. His greatest passion was always his family. His hobby in his later life was what he called “spending time with all his grandchildren”. His early life hobbies included fishing, wood carving, target shooting, and cooking for family. He was a loving, caring, devoted, and compassionate man. He was always there to lend a helping hand to his families and in-laws. He would give his last dollar to anyone who needed it. He was a very reliable man. Abelardo ( Dan) is survived by his childhood sweetheart and best friend of 71 years, married for 51 years to Anita Cabigas; six children: Wilfredo Ignacio, Wenette (Richard) Frady, Wilma Tunnell, Abelardo Jr, Wendy (Erick) Luna, and Amy Ignacio; Grandchildren: Randy Ignacio-Segal, Daisy Tunnell, Jeffrey Ignacio, Autumn Tunnell, Lauren Holback, Alexis Luna, and Erick Luna Jr; brothers Rodolfo and Danilo Ignacio; sisters Milagros Lugue and Carolina Reyes; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents Salvador and Maria Magdalena Ignacio, Brother Perino Ignacio, and sister Magdalena Felicita. Daddy, Your love, teachings and values of life will forever be spread from generation to generation. Thank you for loving us unconditionally.
